Dear Alumni,
It’s our privilege to invite you for the Second ALUMNI MEET being organized on 27th December, 2008 at our Institute. We are expecting alumni of all the batches to participate in the meet. Since many of us have been away from this place for many years, it will be wonderful to see old friends after such a long time and foster new ties as well. Over the years, the college has undergone a good deal of transformation and you will observe several new developments. We hope you must be eager to learn what all has happened over these years and how the college has grown up? It’s a great opportunity to interact with your batch-mates and relish & refresh your past memories.At the moment we are in the process of chalking out the finer details of the programme, but to apprise you in brief, the event will begin with welcome and registration on 27th December at 10.00 a.m. followed by department wise interactive sessions......
Registration fee Particulars:
For One time membership = Rs. 100/- for all.
For Life time membership = Rs. 500/- for 1998 to 2003 admitted batch students.
Alumni Chapters at Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune will be announced on 27.12.2008. Interested students in the respective cities can join as organizing committee members for future events of MITSAA in the above cities. MITSAA is planning to organize events at the chapter locations from 2009 onwards. Herewith, find enclosed the Invitation for your kind review. Hope you will plan for the day.

Minutes of the Alumni Meet 2008:
1) Chief Guest was Dr. Krishna Prasad, Prof /HOD ECE/Dean – NIT Warangal (Formerly REC), IC Chip Design Center founder and renowned teacher with 30 years of experience, who delivered a thought provoking speech covering the evolution of various engineering aspects in human life and shared his views on having Technical Associations in Institutions and significant part of Alumni towards the development of an institution – About setting Aims (Long Term Targets) and Goals (Short Term Targets) in career and life. Excerpts from his speech are:
Start: “Never trouble the trouble, until the trouble troubles you”…
The important points to be remembered in life:
1) Domain Knowledge is Vital. Every branch of engineering is vital to the society.
2) To know what you are irrespective of the physical appearance, position and status.
3) Question till you get the answer and understand the topic. Questioning gets the best results out.
4) Never take a suggestion for granted. Make your own decisions after analyzing the things appropriately.
Closure: “Doubt every possibility to doubt. Never doubt that you are doubting”…
2) Mr. Raja Mohan Babu of CSE (1999-2003) batch was honored as the senior most Alumni present for the occasion and was seated on the dais alongside other dignitaries viz.
1) Dr. Krishna Prasad – Chief Guest – DEAN, NIT Warangal
2) Mr. N. Krishna Kumar – Chairman, MITS
3) Mr. N. Srinivasulu – Principal, MITS
4) Mr. Vijay Kumar – Vice Principal, MITS
Also present were, Mr. N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary – Secretary, MITS and Mr. Ravi Kumar – Professor, NIT Warangal and HODs & Lecturers of respective departments in MITS. Mohan, representing the Alumni, addressed the gathering and provided inspiration to every student’s aspiration with valuable information.
